Terroir Wine Bar / by JOYCE WANG

Terroir wine bar is located next to Barrafina Adelaide street (near Trafalgar square), really convenient for tourists and the pre-theatre crowd. Dinner is served from 5.30pm (they serve wine throughout the day too) and it was packed immediately with pre-theatre people. I pitched a seat at the bar and immediately liked the place. It was really relaxing, I could stay here for hours, just sipping different wines and eating small dishes (I got tipsy really quickly, wines were so good). Menu was short but seasonal with a mixture of French/British dishes divided into small and big plates. The pork and pistachio terrine is their classic, where the recipe was written on the black board next to the entrance. The snail on toast was really rich, full of big flavours with that green garlic sauce. I had a refreshing raspberry jelly after to clean out my palate. I think Terroir is the perfect place to go after work, to get a little drunk while having great food! I'm definitely coming back again.
